Google has just added a new automated bidding strategy called “Maximize Conversions” to AdWords.

As the name suggests, this new feature will use the set campaign budget in order to increase conversions using machine learning. Some of the data points that Google will likely use to maximize conversions are things like past performance, time of day, bidding model, etc.

As a precondition for “Maximize Conversions” to work, the selected campaign cannot use a share budget and Google AdWords conversion tracking needs to be activated.
